December Goodreads Giveaway!

Railways SmDecember is something of a special month. The obvious reason is the upcoming holiday season, of course, but it also happens to be just over one year since Sun Bleached Winter was released. Figuring I’d try and kill to birds with one stone, I’m celebrating both by running a special Goodreads giveaway until next week. The prize up for grabs is a super-rare signed paperback of Sun Bleached Winter, including a special letter of thanks addressed to the lucky winner — the perfect gift for any post-apocalypse junkie.

The giveaway begins on Saturday, December 7th (at the time of writing, that’s approximately two hours from now) and closes on the 14th. I’ll then post the prize on the following Monday and — pending a possible postal worker strike, zombie outbreak or divine intervention — it should arrive just in time for Christmas, if not soon after. At the moment, the giveaway will only allow residents of Australia, Canada the UK and the US to enter (ie. Goodreads’ default setting), but this was only so I could get it set up in time. If your country of residence isn’t included, just let me know.

If you’d like to enter to win, click here. You’ll need a valid Goodreads account, but registering one costs nothing (and you can also log in via Facebook). The winner will be selected at 12:00am (EST) on December 15th. The selection process is completely random and everyone has an equal chance of victory. All it takes is one click to enter and there’s literally nothing to lose, so what are you waiting for?

You can read a free sample of Sun Bleached Winter here. Or check out By The Fire, a free short story set in the same universe.

7 months passed, will you never publish a One Night 2: The Beyond walkthrough ?

I guess I must have gotten sidetracked on that count! I’m focusing on my writing at the moment (currently working on my second book) and I’m not doing any game development related stuff, but I probably will get around to it in the new near.

In the meantime, there are links to a bunch of video walkthroughs on the “Games” page that will help you if you’re stuck. Also, if you’re just looking for solutions to the puzzles, the manual that comes with the game has them.

Thank you so much, i didn’t know about the manual, it really helped me!
